Mr. Thomas Townsend visited Colombia for the first time during last July in order to meet with the current director of La Gran Colombia University and other senior administrators of the university in order to share information and decide the best path for implementation of the recently signed international cooperation agreement.

We also thank the directors of the Laboratory of Criminalistics and Forensic Sciences INTERCENTER located in Bogotá for their hospitality, their time and their interest in our knowledge exchange options and academic mobility among other aspects.

We also took the opportunity to visit other sites of interest for future seminars, congresses and teachers’ exchange to be develop in various cities of Colombia, which we will detail further ahead. This first visit marks a very important point in the process of our organization and the development of our mission.

We hope that we can be sharing details about international exchanges and other programs derived from this visit very soon.
